Atlantic Coast Conference History

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic league in the United States, part of the NCAA organization. Founded in 1953 in Greensboro, North Carolina, the ACC currently has twelve member universities. Football teams participate in the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS).
