1973 NIT Basketball Tournament

The 1973 NIT was a single game elimination tournament, consisting of sixteen (16) teams. All games were played at Madison Square Gardens in New York City. The tournament started on March 17 and concluded on March 25. It was won by Virginia Tech Hokies, with a 92?91 overtime victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the championship game.
