1996 NCAA Womens Basketball D1 Championship Tournament

The 1996 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament took place from March 15?31, 1996. The Final Four consisted of Connecticut, Georgia, Stanford, and Tennessee. Tennessee defeated Georgia 83?65 in the championship game to win the title. Michelle Marciniak (Tennessee) wa named the Tournament Outstanding Player (MOP).
