Basketball Association of America Review 1946-47

In its first three seasons, the National Basketball Association (NBA) league was known as the Basketball Association of America (BAA). For the playoffs In the first round, the second-place and third-place teams from each division played each other in best-of-three series, with the winners advancing to the semifinals.

In the semi-finals the first-place teams played a best-of-seven series, while the winners from the first round played a best-of-three series.
