March 2003: Most WAFC teams will be moving to the IWFL for spring 2003. The Women's Affiliated Football Conference has now become the Women's American Football Council, an advisory body for the sport of women's professional football. (think this means another league has folded) Womens Affiliated football Conference was made up mostly of teams departing the defunct WAFL. Initial league play was September 7th, 2002.
