Canadian University (CIS) and Canadian College Hockey
The Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) (formerly Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union CIAU) is arguably the most underrated league in North America. The CIS is comprised of mostly ex Major Junior players as well as top Junior A players and this combination makes for highly skilled hockey.
We have included the playing conferences and past information in this area.
Canadian college hockey refers to Community college hockey not university level. It consists of two conferences. The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and the Alberta Colleges (ACAC). It is under the juristriction of the CCAA, Canadian College Athletic Associatiion.

Each year a championship series is held to determine a Canadian wide university champion, which is presented the University Cup.

Each year a Canadian college level champion was determined and presented with the CCAA Championship Bowl. CCAA no longer sanctions hockey.
