Stanley Cup 1919-20 Season
The Ottawa Senators faced the Seattle Metropolitans for the Stanley Cup. The games were to be played in Ottawa but due to warm weather the last two games were played at the indoor rink in Toronto. Ottawa won the series 3 games to 2.

The format for the Stanley Cup was a best of 5 games, played in 1920 in Ottawa and because of warm weather at the indoor rink in Toronto for the last two games. The games were played under the NHL/PCHA rules, alternating between games.
The individual championship of the NHL was awarded to Ottawa who had won both halfs of their season. The PCHA championship was a 2 game total goal format played under the specific league rules.
