National Hockey League (NHL) Season Review 1946-1947
Montreal Canadiens finished first in the NHL, the Toronto Maple Leafs were second. After eliminating the Detroit Red Wings in a five-game semifinal series, Toronto beat Montreal in six games to win the Stanley Cup.
