The Indy Racing League IndyCar Series race has been held at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois since 2001. Originally sponsored by Delphi the sponsorship changed in 2005 to the Peak Antifreeze Indy 300 presented by Mr. Clean. Since 2006 the race has become the final event of the IRL schedule.
