Goodys Dash Series

Goodys Dash Series

With realignment in 2003 the Touring Division split into three divisions. The Touring Division consisted of the Goodys Dash Series and the Featherlite Modified Series. In October 2003 BRDAYTONA took over the Goodys Dash Series from NASCAR. The Goody's Dash Series had been a part of NASCAR since 1975.

Goodys Dash Series: Considered an entry-level touring series, this series features subcompact race cars with powerful six-cylinder engines. Cars use a 268 cubic-inch, 9:1 compression V-6 engine. The cars must weigh 2,750 pounds and maintain a wheelbase of 100 inches. It is also the only touring series to feature foreign-manufactured cars.
