NASCAR Nextel Cup Series - Nextel All-Star Challenge (Previously The Winston) Winners
The Nextall All Star Challenge (previously The Winston) All Winners event started in 1985 and is held every year in May, at night. The race is currently held at Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC. The event has been there all but one year when it was held in Atlanta (1986.)
The current event consists of the Open Qualifier, then the main race, which is made up of 3 segments, 40 laps, 30 laps and the final 20 laps. The format is chnged often with 2004 being all cars advanced from each segment and the field reversal occured after the first segment.
