The NASCAR Cup Series is a stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR (the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing). NASCAR’s premier series had been known as the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series since Jan. 1, 2017, rebranded in 2020. It holds races over the season at tracks located in the United States both road courses and ovals. Although the roots of the series was in the use of "stock" manufacturers vehicles, todays cars are custom built automobiles powered by custom built V8 engines.

Williams Grove Speedway - Cup Series Race Winners

Williams Grove Speedway is a half-mile dirt racing track located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, United States. The speedway opened on May 21, 1939 and has hosted many of the most notable national touring series and some of those most prestigious races in the country. The speedway is entering its 81st year of operation, with racing every Friday from March to October and other special events. One of these special events is the National Open for sprint cars sanctioned by the World of Outlaws racing series held in late September or early October each year.In the 1950s Stock Cars made numerous appearances including the NASCAR Grand National division in 1954.
