Nascar Cup Series

The NASCAR Cup Series is a stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR (the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing). NASCAR’s premier series had been known as the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series since Jan. 1, 2017, rebranded in 2020. It holds races over the season at tracks located in the United States both road courses and ovals. Although the roots of the series was in the use of "stock" manufacturers vehicles, todays cars are custom built automobiles powered by custom built V8 engines.

Oklahoma State Fairgrounds - Cup Series Race Winners

The State Fair Speedway in Oklahoma City was a historic 0.50 mile dirt oval track located at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. Operating for over 50 years as a premier racing venue, the track held its 55th season in 2009 before being closed due to safety concerns regarding the aging grandstand, leading to its demolition in 2010. A smaller 0.475 mile oval track was created in 2002. In the track's final years, sprint cars and stock cars raced from March to October. This track was a regular stop for the travelling American Sprint Car Series (ASCS).
