The NASCAR Cup Series is a stock car racing series owned and operated by NASCAR (the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing). NASCAR’s premier series had been known as the NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series since Jan. 1, 2017, rebranded in 2020. It holds races over the season at tracks located in the United States both road courses and ovals. Salisbury Speedway - Cup Series Race Winners
 | The Salisbury Speedway was a historic 0.625 mile dirt oval located in Salisbury, NC (185 Piper Lane), which hosted NASCAR Grand National races in 1958. Promoted by Bruton Smith, it featured legends like Ralph Earnhardt and Lee Petty before closing in 1961. The site, originally a 1920s horse ranch, still has remnants of the track's turn three visible. |
